Reach for the Stars - Disability Athletics Carnival

Hopefully you've been training hard and you're ready to test yourselves. The Reach for the Stars Athletics Carnival is on Friday 2 November 2007. All heats will be held at the beginning of the day and everybody attending is encouraged to join in. The throwing and jumping events will also run from the beginning, and again every athlete is encouraged to have a go!

Similarly, the marathon and ultra marathon is for all brave souls. Every competitor will be able to participate in multiple events and thus everyone should have more than one event or activity to look forward to. The manual wheelchair races will be non competitive, so please follow directions. Fingers crossed for good weather, but bring sunscreen, hats, shade and lots of drinks just in case.

Here is what you need to do:

• Click here for the Event Running Order and get there as close to the start time as possible


• Print, fill in and send the Payment/Registration Form to Tracey or Amy (below) The cost is $100 per organization/facility/team. (i.e. Spastic Centre and Spastic Centre Manly CAS are considered two separate teams. Each will need to register and pay separately.) Payment must be paid by Friday 12 October 2007. A receipt will be issued on the day (or prior by post ) Cheques are to be made payable to "MSSA Care Personnel"


• Please fill in this Attendance List of the staff and athletes attending, prior to Friday 2 November 2007 and email/fax to MSSA Care Personnel.


• Read the Risk Assessment Summary and get your CEO or designated representative to sign it and fax a copy of it back to MSSA Care Personnel on 02 9286 2888. You must do this to participate.


• A copy of the SOPAC "Risk Management Overview" will be handed to you on arrival, or sent to you via email.

Registrations are limited, so be sure to forward your organizations cheque - prior to Friday 12 October 2007 to:
